It has extremely interesting nutritional characteristics compared to the other tropical fruits, besides its juicy and sweet flavor. A fresh mango contains about 15% sugar, up to 1% protein and significant quantities of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, which may include vitamin A, B and C.
