Acid Lime

Most citrus fruits are from Asia where you can still find wild varieties of lemon trees.
The acid lime arrived in America with the first Portuguese and Spanish conquistadors in the sixteenth century and Brazil is a major producer of Tahiti lime specialty (or acid lime), which is a hybrid fruit, resulting from the Persian lime and the Rangpur lime (horse) and being a hybrid, many do not consider the Tahiti lime a lemon, but a "acid lime".
Rich in vitamin C, acid lime helps strengthen the body's defenses to prevent various diseases.
